Gary Bates is an artist, educator, and arts administrator. While developing the website, it was important to make sure the paintings and drawings translated well online. While digital images of art can appear flat, we created an illusion of depth to bring out the true beauty of the work. The color palette and simplicity of the website allow the artwork to be the visual focus.
