PITTSBURGH PROMISE
The Pittsburgh Promise promotes academic success and encourages students to attend college or trade schools by providing scholarships to graduates of Pittsburgh Public Schools. When the Executive Director, Saleem Ghubril, asked me to create a brochure to distribute to students and parents at participating schools, I was happy to help. The goal was to explain the mission and guidelines of the program and specifically reach Spanish-speaking communities. After several iterations, we agreed on a small foldout brochure featuring program participants.
