EAT THE BUTTER
Eat the Butter is a nonprofit organization promoting a mother-to-mother movement to combat chronic disease. The organization is on a mission to educate families about Vintage Eating: how people used to eat, how those diets kept people healthy and did not cause epidemics of chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and dementia. The founder, Jenni Calihan, asked me to create a brand that is both friendly and appealing but also flexible in its ability to communicate her mission.
LYNDA SCHUSTER
Former staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal and author, Lynda Schuster, needed a new website to announce her new book. I created a new look for her brand and designed a website so fans could follow her book tour, recent articles and blog.
PITTSBURGH PROMISE
The Pittsburgh Promise promotes academic success and encourages students to attend college or trade schools by providing scholarships to every graduating student of a Pittsburgh Public School. When the Executive Director, Saleem Ghubril asked me to create a brochure to distribute to students and parents at participating schools, I was happy to help. The goal was to explain the mission and guidelines of the program and specifically reach Spanish-speaking communities. After several iterations, we agreed on a small foldout brochure featuring program participants.
